I'm a Pheeder are you?

So came across this tottaly new and fresh idea. www.pheed.com!!

Your gonna wanna check this out! So its self-made and self-startup and they work out of a rented mansion on Mulholland Drive. I think its safe to say that Myspace crashed and burnt after the launch of Facebook. Twitter and Instagram have been some of the only social networking platforms that generally works. Goggle+  still struggles to get follwers like Myspace, so does Pheed think they can take on Facebook and Twitter? Considering they think they are more than just a platform, I hope they can!

'The Pheed House is located on top of Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills, CA. We host events & have phriends and phamily on special occasions. Pheed is more than a platform it's a lifestyle.'
After launching a couple of days ago they already have 350,000 unique visitors, of which consisted of A List Celebs, including: Ashley Tisdale, David Guetta, Paris Hilton, and Chris Brown. Plus its got a Iphone App waiting for approval (fingers crossed).

So basically you allow influencers to charge for their content so that high quality content can be produced. The makers of Pheed see a lot of gaps and problems with today's social media platforms. Stating that their is too much noise so quality content is lost. It has a twitter feel to it, but it feels like a much more origial and quirky platform to be able to express you self in a more creative manner.

Pheed allows you to share all kinds of digital content, text, photo, audio, video and live broadcasts. 'Pheeders' then have the option to share for free or at a premium, either by applying a monthly subscription fee to their channel or setting up a pay-per-view live broadcast event. You can charge from $1.99 to $34.99 per view or the same per month. So you get to put a price on you thoughts and ideas and you get to own it - unlike Facebook, where you never seem to know when its going to fuck up next!!

Pheed makes money by taking half the revenue, which covers bandwidth, storage, payment processing and its profits.

So the important question you have to ask yourself is, Would you pay to read Slash's content? Would you expect someone else to pay to see your thoughts and ideas? Would you pay to read my content?

I've already made my account, I wouldn't consider charging for a while though, I've found so much quirky and cool content on their already and considering this is only the beginning you should get yourself an account and see what you can discover and be a part of!!!

Plus I love the term Pheed, and Pheeder. As well as Pham!

I need to share this with you

Listen to it at least twice. Swag it out on a Monday morning. #Ifyoudontknownowyouknow

Christmas is coming!!!!!!

I'm too excited about Christmas!!!!
Love the all stars spesh the white ones think how cute they would be with a Christmas jumper (I've asked my mum to knit me one this year) and the snowman mug with the little whisk is for hot chocolate, which would be perfect on Christmas Eve!! God I'm excited just thinking about it!!! I honestly can't wait!!!!

The little reindeer all lit up has brothers and sisters and would look so cute outside on the front garden, so Santa Claus knows where to stop obviously!!!!!

What I'm wearing today

Feel good Jack Wills checked shirt and my best friend the disco pant. <3 so cosy

1:Face Watch

I came across these beauties while surfing the web, they are a sleek design and come in lots of different colours and each one you buy helps change the world!!

THE WAY IT WORKS

Each colour represents a different cause and each one carries a particular metric, for example if you buy a white watch their supporting charity One Day's Wages provides food supplements to 16 children in the Horn of Africa. Through their website and social media channels, they let you follow the help that you have aided.

So for once its not just a fashion product, its something more.

What Each Colour Means

metrics

 HUNGER: WhiteOne Day's Wages
hungerODW
The horn of Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia) has recently experienced its worst drought in 60 years, leaving 13 million people in need of assistance and food. Along with their long term work in the region, for every white watch purchased, One Day's Wages will be able to provide treatment for 16 malnourished children with food supplements they desperately need.

WATER: YellowCharity: Water

30,000 people die every week from unsafe drinking water. For every 625 water watches purchased, Charity: Water will build a well, providing sanitary drinking water for an entire village.

BREAST CANCER: PinkNational Breast Cancer Foundation

1 in every 8 woman will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. A simple mammogram can help save these woman's lives.  However, millions of women don't have the money to pay for this procedure. Every 14 pink watches purchased will enable the National Breast Cancer Foundation to provide 1 mammogram for a woman in need.

ENVIRONMENT: BlueThe Adventure Project
environmentadventure
Everyday, 3 billion people in developing countries are exposed to toxic smoke when preparing meals.  The Adventure Project will provide 1 charcoal efficient stove to a family in Haiti for every 3 blue watches purchased.

AIDS: RedKeep a Child Alive
aidskeepachildalive
Over 30 million people live with AIDS worldwide. For every 5 red watches purchased, Keep a Child Alive can provide the AIDS care necessary to keep a child alive with AIDS alive for one month.

CANCER: BlackAmerican Cancer Society
canceracs
Millions of people are affected by cancer each year. Many of them aren't educated about the treatment options available and even more struggle with the emotional impact this causes on them and their family. To help these people, for every black watch purchased, the American Cancer Society can provide the necessary education and support to 8 cancer patients and their families.

Their Story

This project began its life at MIrza Minds, a product and branding firm in Chicago. The watch brand was originally the vision of Creative Director Fam Mirza. Having experienced both the hardships of the 3rd world and the comfort of the 1st. Fam desired to create something that could bridge that gap and ultimately make the world a better place.

'Change originates from within. That is why the face of the watch is designed as a mirror. When you check the time, you see your reflection looking back within you.' - Fam Mirza

This is so tottally amazing and I'm definitely adding it to my Christmas List, now all I have to do is decide on the colour!!!!

There is so much more to this project so please go have a look and buy one :) because they are sleek, dynamic and down right amazing.

What I Wore..... Yesterday..

I think this is possibly one of my favourite outfits. These harem pants are from tesco and years old. I <3 them though. As you all know I think you can find some real gems as long as you are willing to wade through the rubbish!!!

P.s thats totes new hair colour. Brunettes have more fun, I wouldn't listen to anyone else if I were you!!!

Vivienne Westwood Red S/S '12

Vivienne Westwood has always been the leader in change and development. Like the Balmain Pre Season show, I'm getting a 40's and 50's vibe mixed together like a good milkshake.

Here are my favourite pieces.

Not sure about the horrendous make up though! The playsuit is definitely my favourite though! So make sure you've got your Tommy guns, tailored waistcoats and ya dolly birds.

P.s the shapes are tottaly to die for!!!!

Balmain Pre season S/S '12

Balmain has always been one of my favorite designers. The line ooze's sexy maturity, the cut and shape of each garment is something that no other designer has achieved to the level of quality that Balmain have. It flatters and shapes each figure like a tiny little package perfectly wrapped and decorated like the sight of the Harrods Christmas department for the first time!!

So here are my favourite pieces from the Pre Season show.

Anyone else getting a 1940's vibe mixed with the power 80's look. The mix of patterns are intriguing and I wish I could get my hands on that Balmain staple piece (Cigarette pants).
