Christmas Time...

I've been filling the....Gaps....

So the reason I've been away from the keyboard is I've recently been working with Gap as a Visual Supervisor and have been doing overnights shifts to refit their Gunwharf Outlet store! - a side note, if you've never been to Gunwharf (Portsmouth) you should save up your money and go! Outlet stores range from Nike, Gap, Jack Wills, Paul Smith and KG Shoes!!!

So here are some photos of the refit I did in Gunwharf -

Gap womens logo concept has been looked over, I think more women need to get them selves into Gap!!

I know what your thinking!!!!! But take a look at these boots and tell me you don't want to own a pair desperately!!!

Slam them on with a white boho-chic dress and some black tights and your good to go!!!

What I've Been wearing..

So here's what I've been wearing recently:

Brought a cute nail kit from River Island - this was my first attempt - they just stick to your nail varnish!!! Definitely going to be attempting more!!!

New studded dress - Hunt No More <3 actually in love. Brought from the Boutique, What Sarah Did! Along with my added new ring, watch and earrings.

The watch is from Olivia Burton - A British based brand, the watches are vintage inspired and are affordable and chic! I love mine and I hate watches.

Baby Its Cold Outside!! My big Russian hat is from Gap!! Shirt is Jack Wills, and while it maybe a rubbish label to some people, I love this shirt and Jack Wills - You just have to find your style and know how to wear it.

WHAT SARAH DID

I've recently been working with the owner of a cute boutique in Hitchin town, called 'What Sarah Did'. If you haven't visited yet (you should be ashamed) but it is 4-5 Bancroft Hitchin. If this weather is too cold and wet for you, do not fear alas Miinto.co.uk is here - this is the bit where I come in!! I have been updating our Miinto section with fabulous winter Coats and Gilets (some Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren), as well some really sophisticated LBD's (what Christmas would be complete without one of those), some fantastic footwear  as well scarfs, jewellery and so much more. 

This shop is more than just a shop, its a destination and with some many chic and cheap brands inside its hard to resist!!! Me and mum could both go shopping here and it would be okay and we'd both come out looking a million dollars!! I've obviously got some favourite pieces and if you do have time to go check it out (you'd be a fool not to there's 20% off selected items) I'm sure you'll come out with a steal!! 

The customer service and welcome you receive from this shop is one of a kind and without the owner- Sarah Clare it couldn't be what it is today!! When ever I've been in there I feel like I'm raiding my best dressed friends wardrobe (all those pieces you'd wish you'd seen first, except this time its yours). It is What Sarah Did's 2nd Birthday this coming Sunday and I really think you should get yourself down to the shop, which to be honest what more could you want out of a sunday? Gotta start the Christmas shop soon!!! Less of the big corporate faceless size-st Topshop and make it more about finding your own style in a brand that not everyone is wearing. After-all we were all born individuals, so go get inspired (Sarah always looks fabulous).

This Freak of Nature Jacket is something quite special!! Its only £75 and definitely worth more because it is such a statement piece.

These great Taupe White Leaf clutches are ideal for that Gloth Glam look (Its my favourite no matter what season we are in!!)

I adore these Ash Hi-Tops!! They've got added skull detail as well as studs and are dead comfy!! They also come in different colours!!

Both these pieces are super cute but the Cerise 'Stolen Moment' Fairground dress is my favourite. Its bright but because of the velvet feel it gives off a Christmassy vibe/luxury vibe and has a cute cutout style around the neck and back!!

This Ralph Lauren (Denim & Supply) Fur trimmed Mac and Over-sized Boyfriend cardigan are to dye for!!!

These Bitching and Junkfood denim shorts are one of my favourites and it was WSD that helped me find the brand!!!

This S'nob Tweed and quilted jacked is one of my boyfriends favourites and wants me to purchase ASAP!!

Fright Night

So this Saturday I went to my first Mulletover in Hackney Wick. Everyone made so much effort with their outfits and make-up!! Wish I had taken pictures!! So here's my last effort at Halloween this year.. its a whole year now till the next one :( meep! Favorite night over!!!

What I wore yesterday....

I had an interview with Barbour yesterday! It was interesting to say the least!! I wore my favourite Karen Millen shirt that I wear when ever I can! My trousers are semi wet look and from Zara Women. I <3 them!! Together they look so smart!

OMG new panda shirt!!! Honestly never been soo happy about a purchase. Bought it from 'When Rosie Met Ziggy' new vintage store in hitchin's old arcade. <3 do lots of rockabilly stuffs and cheap. My shirt only cost £12!!!! Get ya self in there!!!

Freak Me Baby

So I finally got to celebrate hallows eve last night!! Due to illness I couldn't play with the ghouls on Saturday night! :(

However I finally got to wear my dead virgin outfit - minus the blood all over my body and the dramatic make up!!

My friend hosted a dinner party which was delicious and nutritious. It consisted of 'Mash Boo-tatoe'. It's amazingly cute and ghoulish.

I also painted my nails (using a sponge) to look like I'd been eating flesh!! Yummy. I LOVE HALLOWEEN l!!

However the best outfit is yet to come as you will see Saturday night <3 woooop!!

I'm a Pheeder are you?

So came across this tottaly new and fresh idea. www.pheed.com!!

Your gonna wanna check this out! So its self-made and self-startup and they work out of a rented mansion on Mulholland Drive. I think its safe to say that Myspace crashed and burnt after the launch of Facebook. Twitter and Instagram have been some of the only social networking platforms that generally works. Goggle+  still struggles to get follwers like Myspace, so does Pheed think they can take on Facebook and Twitter? Considering they think they are more than just a platform, I hope they can!

'The Pheed House is located on top of Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills, CA. We host events & have phriends and phamily on special occasions. Pheed is more than a platform it's a lifestyle.'

After launching a couple of days ago they already have 350,000 unique visitors, of which consisted of A List Celebs, including: Ashley Tisdale, David Guetta, Paris Hilton, and Chris Brown. Plus its got a Iphone App waiting for approval (fingers crossed).

So basically you allow influencers to charge for their content so that high quality content can be produced. The makers of Pheed see a lot of gaps and problems with today's social media platforms. Stating that their is too much noise so quality content is lost. It has a twitter feel to it, but it feels like a much more origial and quirky platform to be able to express you self in a more creative manner. 

Pheed allows you to share all kinds of digital content, text, photo, audio, video and live broadcasts. 'Pheeders' then have the option to share for free or at a premium, either by applying a monthly subscription fee to their channel or setting up a pay-per-view live broadcast event. You can charge from $1.99 to $34.99 per view or the same per month. So you get to put a price on you thoughts and ideas and you get to own it - unlike Facebook, where you never seem to know when its going to fuck up next!!

Pheed makes money by taking half the revenue, which covers bandwidth, storage, payment processing and its profits.

So the important question you have to ask yourself is, Would you pay to read Slash's content? Would you expect someone else to pay to see your thoughts and ideas? Would you pay to read my content?

I've already made my account, I wouldn't consider charging for a while though, I've found so much quirky and cool content on their already and considering this is only the beginning you should get yourself an account and see what you can discover and be a part of!!!

Plus I love the term Pheed, and Pheeder. As well as Pham!

Christmas is coming!!!!!!

I'm too excited about Christmas!!!!
Love the all stars spesh the white ones think how cute they would be with a Christmas jumper (I've asked my mum to knit me one this year) and the snowman mug with the little whisk is for hot chocolate, which would be perfect on Christmas Eve!! God I'm excited just thinking about it!!! I honestly can't wait!!!!

The little reindeer all lit up has brothers and sisters and would look so cute outside on the front garden, so Santa Claus knows where to stop obviously!!!!!
